Procedures and Surgeries

Dr. Erickson performs procedures and surgeries in the office and at Paris Regional Medical Center, both North and South campuses.

Procedures in the Office:

  • Allergy testing and shots
  • Pillar procedure to treat snoring and mild sleep apnea
  • Cleaning out ears
  • Look at the internal structures of the nose, sinuses and throat with endoscopes
  • Look at the internal structure of ears with a microscope
  • Biopsy skin of the face and neck, including the lips and the outside of the ear
  • Biopsy lesions inside the nose, mouth, throat, and ear.
  • Remove foreign bodies from the ear, nose, and throat
  • Incise and drain abscesses of the face and neck
  • Incise and drain abscesses of the tonsils and mouth
  • Excise lesions from the face, neck, scalp, ears, nose, and lips

Surgeries at the Hospital:

  • Placement of ear tubes
  • Tonsillectomy
  • Adenoidectomy
  • Nasal surgery to improve breathing ability
  • Sinus surgery to relieve chronic congestion and headaches
